Our technicians at Re-Power Solar can troubleshoot and assess your solar PV system, and make applicable repairs unique to any system, providing long term repair solutions for solar panel systems throughout the hill country areas.
Residential solar panel repairs can vary among system types, and issue location within the solar PV system, ranging anywhere from minor to severe. For most first time visits, we recommend a full system assessment trip. One of our highly experienced solar field technicians will gather all the necessary information and data about your current solar PV system, fully assess the system, and make repairs if the technician can do so safely and effectively in the allotted timeframe. If repairs can not be completed during this first visit, and a second specialized repair trip is required, a detailed estimate will be provided. Are Squirrels, Birds, or Racoons nesting underneath your panels?
For some solar PV systmes, you may be able to see the space between your roof and solar panels, check for visual evidence of critters nesting. Signs may include, masses of leaves, twigs, and other debris piled under the panels. Even noticing these animals present on your roof raises some cause for concern and relaying this information to us will help get things going in the right direction for means of diagnosis, repairs, and prevention.
Inverter / Microinverter Replacement
Most inverter manufacturers hold honorable warranties on your equipment, the industry standard is typically a 10 year warranty. If you have an inverter or microinverter that has faulted out, or is suffering from any variety of issues, as long as the equipment holds a valid warranty, Re-Power Solar is capable of resolving these issues by means of repairs and/or even pushing through the warranty exchange process and getting a new functional inverter installed regardless of your original installer or equipment manufacturer.
Estimates
Some repairs can be extensive, requiring more than one technician to be present in order to safely and effectively make the necessary repairs to your solar PV system. Animal (squirrel) intrusion being an exceptionally common example we see. If this is the case, you will be provided with a detailed estimate for the applicable repairs at the time of assessment.
